Graduate Programs Australia (GPA) Pty Ltd cares about your privacy and is
committed to processing, storing and treating your personal information with the
highest standards of fair information practices. This privacy notice (Privacy Notice)
applies to personal information provided by users who have agreed to register to
use the e2e.net on-line employment matching service and jobseeker eLearning website
(Website).
The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to set out to users the type of information
that GPA will collect and the purposes that GPA will use and/or disclose your personal
information, which you provide to us. GPA will collect the personal information
(as well as all information) you provide to it for the purposes of performing its
obligations under a contract with the Government of the State of Queensland and
for all other purposes incidental to the services it will provide through the Website.
This includes disclosing your contact details to potential employers who posted
a vacancy on the Website.
What your personal information is
Personal information includes any information (fact or opinion) that readily identifies
a person - such as name, address, age, payroll number, education standards/qualifications,
physical characteristics, employment history, financial status, licence number,
religion, health information or relationship details.
Who will collect your personal information?
Your personal information will be collected by GPA for the purposes of determining
your suitability for a placement through the use of the e2e.net program or any other
review and matching process we consider appropriate.
How GPA collects your information
Personal information about you will be collected from you when you undertake the
registration process with GPA. Personal information will also be collected when
you provide any further information about you, such as a resume or your education
details.
Personal information collected via the Website
Every time you visit the GPA Website, GPA may collect information about you, including:
- (a) the date and time of your visit to the GPA website and program;
- (b) your IP address;
- (c) the type of browser and operating system you are using; and
- (d) any address of a recurring site and any website you are about to visit.
The above information provides GPA with details about how the Website will be used
including the frequency and duration of visits, and which web pages you have accessed
on the Website. The information we collect will not personally identify you.
Most commercial websites, including the Website use cookies. Cookies are pieces
of information that websites send to the browser and are stored in the computer
hard-drive. Cookies make using the Website easier by storing information about your
preferences on the Website. This allows the Website to be tailored to you on your

Who GPA may disclose your personal information to
You agree to and permit GPA to disclose your personal information for the purposes
for which it is primarily held or for a related purpose. Your information

- (a) potential employers who have registered with GPA to whom we provide the job matching
service;
- (b) other entities which are part of the GPA group of entities, which entities
will assist with the performance of the e2eNET on-line employment matching service;
- (c) our insurers;
- (d) a Worker's Compensation body;
- (e) our contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors and vendors who perform
services on our behalf from time to time (and only in relation to those services
required for the performance of the e2eNET on-line employment matching service);
or
- (f) any person with an entitlement to obtain your personal information under
law.
We will keep the personal information we collect about you and will destroy that
information once we have received confirmation that you have graduated from your
course and a period of 12 months has expired from the date that you have graduated.
How do we keep personal information accurate and up to date?
GPA endeavours to ensure that the personal information it holds about you is accurate
and up to date. We understand that your personal information may change frequently.
You can access your information to correct it if it is wrong
You have a right to view and have a copy of, personal information about you that
we hold.
If you are able to establish that personal information that we hold about you is
not accurate, complete and up to date, we will take reasonable steps to correct
it so that it is accurate, complete and up to date.
If we are unable to agree that personal information that we hold about you is accurate,
complete and up to date, you may request that we place with the information a statement
by you that claims that particular information is not accurate, complete and up
to date.

Your option not to provide your personal information
Providing your personal information to GPA is absolutely optional. However, if you
do not provide your personal information to GPA, GPA may not be able to provide
you with the full suite of services that are provided through the Website. We also
may not be able to contact you or give you access to information. By providing your
personal information you are deemed to have consented to the use and disclosure
of that information as outlined in this Privacy Notice.
If you do not give GPA the personal information required:
- (a) GPA may not be able to effectively process the information you provide to us;
- (b) GPA may be limited in our ability to locate suitable employment for you; and
- (c) GPA may be limited in our ability to notify you of suitable employment vacancies.
Management of personal information
GPA trains its employees to respect the confidentiality of personal information
and the privacy of individuals at all times. GPA treats breaches of your privacy
very seriously and any breach will result in disciplinary action being taken.
GPA has appointed a Privacy Officer to ensure that our management of personal information
is in accordance with this Privacy Notice and where applicable, the Privacy Act
1988 and all Queensland State Government privacy regulations, information standards
and policies.
Changes to this Privacy Notice
GPA may change this Privacy Notice at any time. If we change this Privacy Notice,
those changes will be set out here, so that you have immediate access to the changes.
